Courtney was an inspiration to me, through his intellectual curiosity and humble attitude I learned so much. I distinctly remember hearing his pitch for NJC at Camp Roberts and it was in that moment I decided I wanted to apply for the program. Eventually, after I got in I was so honored just to be in his presence and I was honestly in awe. He ended up teaching me about leadership, kindness, and compassion. I'll always remember the final friendship circle where we all cried our eyes out in a hotel room in Chicago. You'll always be remembered, Courtney.
